Shtemlow to you, good sir
My Nano went through the wash too. The screen hasn’t worked properly since that little adventure (there’s no more backlight so you can only read the screen if you hold it up to the light at an angle) but otherwise it still works fine.
I saw a bit of that Stephen Fry show a while ago (not sure if this is a series or a one-off documentary?) and it was really fascinating (and of course Fry was charming and funny).
I love how five of those *s are variations of CTV news (and there doesn’t appear to be anything from the CBC on the list)
Yeah, but aren’t you going to be found out? I haven’t played Clue in 10 years or more so I don’t even remember how the game play works out, but isn’t the lie bound to be revealed at the end?
Excatly. I remember playing it with a mixed group of my art school friends and non-art school friends and we artistes wasted too much time trying to make our drawings look good (I know I kind of felt like my reputation was on the line) while the engineers and marketers kept it simple and kicked all our asses.
We used to play Obscene Boggle when I was in high school. It was regular Boggle, but you could only spell swear words (or offensive slang terms!).
How do you cheat at Clue? Do you lie about what cards are in your hand? Do you miscount the number of spaces you move?
Cheating was the only thing that made Monopoly fun when I was a kid. It was an accepted part of the game for us and the clever ruses and sleight of hand required to steal from the bank took far more effort than playing the game itself.
To be honest, I find him pretty unappealing
Yes! That’s a perfect framing device for an anthology series and I can’t believe it hasn’t been done yet.
“Mrs Todd’s Shortcut” is such an awesome story but I agree it could probably never work as an adaptation. On the page it’s slightly unsettling (while also being a very sweet story) but onscreen I can’t imagine it coming across as anything other than goofy.
What is it?
That's a good one, but I'll raise you Riki Tiki Tavi:
Great cover of a great song… uh… I have nothing of value to add here.
Well then, now you’ll have to sing “I’m so! I’m so! Sorrrrrry! I’m so! I’m so! Sorrrrrry!” (Repeat 1,000 times)
Don’t! Don’t! Don’t Bite your friends!
Well, verbing weirds language, y'know.
