Another high school story I'm sure I've told here before, but the only "tradition" at my school was getting the prom cancelled through sheer apathy. Every year there would be an optimistic prom committee who were going to turn things around and plan the awesomest prom in the history of awesome proms.

I think I've told this story here before, but my high school was banned from football for five years when i was in 9th grade. We originally had a junior and senior team but due to attrition only ended up with enough players to field a varsity team.

I got my two year old daughter a whoopee cushion at the dollar store a few weeks ago. My wife was not impressed, but the kid LOVES it.
