Renaton, you can't just sit here in the dark listening to classical music!

Let's not forget:

I'm a big fan of Extremely Bad Advice:

Glad someone finally mentioned Futurama (and specifically the Bureaucrat Song)

It's a hell of a town…

@avclub-d80ecbbbef6ab40a4e53d1ad2c3fc1b2:disqus I used to use something similar to this (it doesn't look like the model I used to have is still available, but this is the same idea):

@avclub-2758352b40c3683c2cffbd07c1d4808e:disqus Late response here, but yeah I agree with you…. as one of the graphic design suckers who helped keep the company alive during the lean years and a lifelong Mac user I really feel like they've abandoned their old base by focusing on gadgets (that I personally have little

Not to defend Apple because I'm currently screwed by this same upgrade issue, but the reason for it is that they switched from the old PowerPC to an Intel processor around 2007 which basically means it was a completely different platform.

Lunch time? You gotta start earlier than that if you want to make it!

Couldn't agree more.

Well said… I'm a graphic artist but the principles are the same – I can (and do) make a lot more money doing technical illustrations of toasters than I could drawing superheroes because the field is much less crowded (and there's more demand).

That's awesome… keep at it!

I remember being really upset when I bought whichever Descendents album had that song and reading the liner notes to discover that it wasn't whale sperm.

Those are balls!

@avclub-5dedb42b34e50082065a783265ce28a8:disqus Too scary or too shitty?

You want Bill sperm with that?

Ohhhhh yeahhhhhh.

We've also tried taking it back to the warehouse but the dudes working out there weren't too thrilled (and people kept complaining about sticking to the floor).

MWC gets a bad rap because of the way its later seasons devolved into silliness (the whole "No Ma'am" club stuff and Bud's "rap" career, for instance) and the boorish studio audience, but it started out a little more grounded in reality.

I like that you mentioned the Simpsons because one of my all time favourite moments on that show was Homer's speech at his BBBQ – "If I could just say a few words…. I'd be a better public speaker", then the cut to Bart laughing his ass off and pounding his fist on the table. OF COURSE Bart would love that joke.
