I just saw that Seinfeld clip show again over the weekend and that Del Boca Vista thing had me laughing my ass off (actually all of the clips of the cast breaking –usually centred around Kramer, who never broke – were hilarious.

I might be wrong about this, but wasn't he the principal songwriter in the band (at least in the early days)? I seem to recall reading somewhere years ago that it was basically his band and he and Mick Marrs were the only two who really took it seriously.
