I had the same conversation with a different guy! He was this dude I knew in college who was into really obscure noise rock and stoner metal but also (apparently unironically) listened to a lot of the pop music of the day.

Funny you mention that, because at the time it never really crossed my mind that the Connors were that much poorer than anyone else on TV (or anyone I knew for that matter) and a big part of it was the fast food diet.
