We're actually taking our 20-month-old on her first camping trip next week… I'm not too worried about the waking hours, since she loves being outside (and a picnic table to climb on will keep her occupied for hours… when she gets bored with that we can switch it up with a log or a rock), but I'm not too optimistic…
