I love that desecrating a child's corpse is classified as "buffoonery" by pirate adjudicators.

Quite honestly, it's a ludicrous claim I once made while drinking and arguing about music with some friends and while I furiously scrambled to back it up I somehow managed to convince myself. In the light of day it's ridiculous, but with a few drinks in me and the album playing really loudly it seems pretty plausible.

On a first listen (it was streaming on NPR last week – not sure if it's still up), it sadly doesn't seem to have much of a New Bomb Turks influence – which shouldn't be surprising considering it's just the drummer from their later albums.

No, I'm pretty sure the correct portmanteau is "pregmant"

The local places never had $5.99 all-you-can-eat lunch though, which was the only reason I ever went to Pizza Hut (and yes, I ate the shit out of the dessert pizzas).

I was a tuba player too, although I had it thrust upon me as the biggest kid in class and presumably the one best suited to lugging the damn thing home every night (maybe they thought the exercise would be good for me).

I used to live between the Mr. Christie cookie factory and a sewage treatment plant so the wind direction determined whether or not it was an open-window kind of day.
