I've never understood the idea of "introducing" someone new to a series like LOTR by starting anywhere but the beginning. Is the plan that you're going to somehow trick this person into watching the entire trilogy without them realizing it?

Heh… I saw Platinum Blonde and Honeymoon Suite at Canada's Wonderland when I was around that age. I'm not sure which one of us had lamer taste.
