Some Kind of Munster

See, I'm kind of willing to give Astbury a pass on the Native American mysticism stuff because he seems to have a genuine, lifelong interest in it – it's not just some passing thing that he dabbled in for a year or two then moved on to the next romantic stoner ideal.

I think there are a lot of bands who are much more guilty of the "recording the same song over and over again" thing than the Cult.

I haven't really kept up with the Melvins for the last ten-or-so years but Melvins + ZZ Top sounds like a recipe for me checking them out again.

Wow. I'd never heard of that guy before but he truly sucks (or at least that series does).
I'm not usually one to completely write off abstract/non-objective art (especially without seeing it in person) but no one is going to convince me that there's anything of value in those shitty paintings.

MuchMusic's Rick the Temp would beg to differ (provided you think co-hosting Entertainment Tonight Canada counts as success).

I used to think I had that… I associated numbers with different colours, but then I realized it was all based on the colours of the keys on my Pianosaurus.

That's literally the only thing I remember about that movie (and the sole reason I clicked this link).
I remember watching it late one night after my parents had gone to bed (I was maybe 10 or 11 at the time) and being totally freaked out by that foot eating scene.

There was also the deserter in the very first episode who was spared by the white walkers (the walker lobbed his buddy's head at him, then let him go)… not sure if there's any connection there but they haven't always killed everyone on sight.
