Thanks for the heads-up.

And didn't they also use a similar trick in The Event?

That's what I thought too.

Jones kicking out Peter was my favorite part. Man I hate people who think it's somehow noble to spread their flu around the workplace.

They already ordered a season two.

One of those things that I never notice until someone mentions it.

I think the exit-wound-sidewalk-crack-sponge is the best theory, right after poor production values.

That's it!

Well it's more of a grasping-at-straws thing. Like maybe they staged it as a clever trap of some kind. I know they didn't, but when they say someone 'bled out' and then show him with a few tablespoons of blood on his shirt, they're just begging me to be delusional.

Heh, I loved that - I think the normal go-to would have been to make him a Trekkie.

The words "he bled out almost immediately" combined with the closeup of not-that-much-blood did temporarily revive my theory that it was all staged.

That would be pretty dark. But, dark is popular lately …

He had sex after Penny's Halloween costume party, in an early season. That's the only one I can think of though.

About her telling him to find a way to keep Peter out of prison.

I've seen someone (Bill Prady maybe?) say on Twitter that they don't use a laugh track, and also that sometimes they actually have to soften the audience reactions because they're too loud for the dialogue.

I know! Although I admit, I was hoping that so long as he was going to do it anyway, the end result would be him finding out about Elizabeth.

Eh, I feel sorry for him too. He might not be in this cut-the-leashes mood if Elizabeth hadn't asked him to keep Peter out of prison. Everyone's quick enough to use his criminality to further their own ends on this show. Except Jones. (Don't change, Jones!)

Oh okay, THAT I've heard of (thanks to some TV show I'm sure, Mad Men? Call the Midwife?). And now the TV drug sounds less dubious.

Thanks!

I thought Fitz put the detail on Jake that wound up saving his life?
