That scene reminded me of Cougar Town. "Hey, it's Big Carl!"

Ah, thanks for explaining.

I read somewhere that he only agreed to guest on the condition that he do more than one episode, and that he will only do a show that's filmed before a live audience.

I had no idea that was a real drug. I thought they made it up.

Neil's goodness or badness aside - this episode made me realize that Peter isn't as good as he thinks he is. He really does love scheming and manipulation and pulling off cons. He's perfectly fine with only-technically following the rules. If the FBI fired him, I would fully expect him to turn criminal because he

For God's sake, I already said I was wrong and I was sorry.

I was hoping that now they've mentioned they'll have the clothes dry-cleaned that would be the end of it. But I guess the actual episode has to happen.

Well I felt bad about it up until your Edit. Then you got snarky and I felt less bad … heh. Look, I'm sorry, it's just that I do love this show so I read the comments sections for episodes and the cast interviews and someone brings this up in every single one. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. For weeks now. So I have read

I want him to have new clothes just so people will stop bitching about it. At this point I start flinching the moment I read the words "new clothes." It's like a water torture - cumulative.

It was an entire season's worth of shipper bait in one episode. And anyone who doesn't believe it was shipper bait - have a look at all the swooning in the tumblrs.

It's already been renewed for S2.

They're moving things along too fast - at this rate they'll be married in the season finale.

I agree, people seem so damn determined to be insulted by this show. Not exactly the best way to encourage more diverse casting.

I agree with your logic.

Thanks for the answer! I can handle bad, I just have trouble with gory.

Because it's bad, or because it's gory?

I would actually like to see that conversation. A lot of this show is about the gray areas of doing the right thing. What's right - letting Peter sit in prison for something he didn't do, or giving in to blackmail so that Peter doesn't have to? Jones is the only one of them who doesn't do gray areas, you'd know

It did seem rushed. That couldn't possibly have been staged for Neil's benefit for some reason, could it? (Grasping at straws.)

Then why not tell Peter why he's doing it and let him make the choice. And by "why" I mean, because his wife demanded it. Then it's on Peter's head, go to prison (breaking Elizabeth's heart) or think of a solution. That could still play out in an interesting way.

I have not watched Dexter. I read that it's coming to Netflix though so I might give it a shot. If it's not too gory.
