See, I knew they had him escape, but I didn't know they had other bounty hunter guy nurse him to health. That just doesn't make sense to me. They're both bounty hunters! Rivals for the same prizes! Unscrupulous mercenaries! It's like a wookie living on the forest moon of Endor, it just does not make sense.

I don't feel it contradicts the story themes though, since Turbo was the "good guy" in his game and so is King Candy. The theme that people portrayed as heroes can be bad, while people portrayed as villains can be good is what I got out of it.
