"Yeah, he gonna get it. Heh heh. Boosh."

I feel like people had similar problems along the lines of "The pilot was great! Why are they procedural-izing it?" with Justified, and we know how that turned out. Same with Fringe. Hopefully Awake follow suit (if it has staying power, of course).

I loved when he called the bird back for the fight, too.

Quarles is like if Chris Traeger were insane in a bad way instead of a positive way.

MBMBaM's discussion of which Presidents to roll with in a fight (and Justin's Clinton impression) was great.

Monkey over Plastic Beach? Yeah, I don't think so.

Jerry Minor showed up, too!

I feel like calling any non-Knick "the next John Starks" would just get a bunch of confused looks from people. "What, so he's a pretty good defender who shoots way too many 3's even though he makes them at around a league average level? Uh… great?"

Treats, which was pretty uneven, got an A. I get that the novelty factor is high with these guys, but I don't get this grade at all. I'll take Reign Of Terror over Treats any day.

The Jonah Keri podcast is great during baseball season, too.

Yeah, their Hollywood Prospectus podcast is excellent. It's like a more entertaining Fire Wall and Iceberg podcast, but where you don't want to kill Dan.

Paradise Circus is undeniably awesome, too. Coincidentally, it's also the theme for a really good show (Luther).

That whole 2nd album is weirdly not terrible (She's A Handsome Woman, in particular). I still don't know how to feel about it, given how godawful their first one is.

My Brother, My Brother, and Me was great, per usual. Travis' fantasy about out-dueling a gun-toting burglar with his sword was just unbelievably hilarious, especially since the follow-up Yahoo answers question had to deal with EXACTLY the same subject.

You know what I like? Calzones.

I think a lot of people like Chutes better. I certainly do.

Rick is turning into a charisma-less Raylan Givens. So, just a murderer, basically.

Yeah, there are definitely better episodes. I'm a big fan of the (early 90's) Captain America episode.

I forgot about the Melissa & Joey goofs, too!

Oh, god, I loved this week's My Brother, My Brother, and Me. Griffin's Monster Guru song, the return of Travis' Sad Libs, child firefighters, and Griffin's imaginary baby "Dworp."
