In fairness to Scot, he actually was a pretty good player in his prime, especially for Sacramento (his best year was for the '01 Kings, who would've made the finals if not for some notoriously questionable officiating against L.A.). Just not as easy to boast about as a championship ring, I suppose.

All The Young Dudes immediately comes to mind

Completely disagree with the "Lord Lord Lord" summary. Swizzy's verse is one of the worst of the last decade, but everybody else acquits themselves just fine and that beat is MAGICAL.

Your Type and Boy Problems have been on repeat for me for about a week straight, and Your Type was the post-I Really Like You single that grabbed me most immediately.

"We need someone to voice Stan and Ford's dad — and we need him to be a gruffer, more surly version of the two."

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you haven't been here in the past couple years. It's actually turned into a pretty cool city, albeit very recently.

Not sure about the hospital, but that spear Marty hit Cohle with to start the fight was most DEFINITELY Goldberg-influenced.

Dredd was maybe my favorite movie of last year and it had like a $45 million budget.

It wasn't steroids, but rather the inordinate number of concussions sustained during his career that caused Benoit to do what he did. Having a diving headbutt as a finishing move probably didn't help.

Also, FLEX-O-TRON.

The tangent about the Snake clinging to the plane in Australia and the water-skiing dog were the best things I heard all week.

Great, now I can't get the image of Arlo riding in on an ATV, hitting Raylan with a Stunner, flipping him off, then shotgunning a couple beers. Thanks A LOT.

"There are only seven famous people in the world at any given time."
"No. STOP IT. HOW ARE THERE ONLY SEVEN FAMOUS PEOPLE?" "Well, because they're the Intoxibellas and they're the only famous people." "STOP SAYING THAT LIKE IT'S A THING."

The 2nd episode with Blake Griffin is definitely one of my ten favorite individual podcast episodes this year.

1. MBMBaM: The Garfield Monstrosity
2. Pod F. Tompkast - Episode 24
3. Comedy Bang Bang - Fourvel
4. The Flophouse - Atlas Shrugged
5. The Art Of Wrestling - Episode 100 with CM Punk hosting (Regal's episodes are a close second)

Considering it continues one of my favorite running jokes in the show (the candy beans/candy ball machine one), I'd be hard pressed to dislike this episode.

This week's episode was phenomenal. The Matt Lauer stuff was awesome. "What HAPPENED? You'd see that fool at the Olympics, like, is he COMPETING?"
