I would bang the shit out of Raylan and I'm pretty far on the straight end of the Kinsey scale.

As soon as I saw this, I immediately thought "Kim Pine." Nice to see I'm not alone in that thought.

More of a "rest" type episode for My Brother, My Brother, and Me this week. Maybe it just doesn't look as good in comparison to the last couple weeks, which have been consistently amazing. Still, I'll take "You, Me, & Dupree"-based relationship advice over most podcasts any day of the week. Oh, and the "Which Saved By

Massive Attack = great intro. Every time. Luther has one of the best opening credits sequences in TV history, as far as I'm concerned.

"This cake is made of sand, and also I'm a ghost! CAKE BOSS!"

I kind of figured My Brother, My Brother, and Me was going to get dropped after it's new (to us) write up was for an episode that was weeks older than the current (at the time) one. This week was awesome, as usual. The riffs on Storage Wars and Cake Boss were hilarious. Also, the joke about getting dropped from

I thought Basement Jaxx deserved a nomination for Attack The Block, but that would require Oscar voters to have seen Attack The Block, which just isn't a realistic expectation.

"Now you know why they call me Chicago Wind: 'cause I left yo ass blowing in the BREEZE."

It's like that sometimes.

Lil B is HILARIOUS. Come on, man.

"These our our convictions, SAM WITWICKY!"

Loved it. Was nervous with the review, but there was tons of great unintentional comedy (like the cut to Drew just staring silently with a half-smile on his face for like 30 seconds at the end of EVERY SCENE). The final scene was just sublime.

Also, I hate Smooth mostly because I've heard it about A MILLION GODDAMN TIMES. It's a song that inexplicably has staying power.

Papa Roach's cover of Gouge Away is… hoo boy. It is awful.

My Freshman year of college I would play Blink 182's First Date because it pissed off my roommate, and he in turn would play Rob Thomas and Carlos Santana's Smooth to troll me. Smooth is a goddamn abomination.

He's never going to top requisitioning the chicken. Never.

No MBMBaM for me to complain about this week, so I'll suggest The Basketball Jones: Overdose podcasts instead. They're on the Grantland Network now (good for them!) and it's worth a listen if you like basketball.

Maybe this will FINALLY get the McElroys some recognition from Podmass, which is long overdue.

But, but… he was wearing a BOWTIE! ON PURPOSE!

News Year's resolutions for the AV Club: listen to MBMBaM already, dammit!
