Walt was gonna die from the beginning. The entire series up to this point has been his reaction to it, loosely mirroring the 5 stages of grief. With the ending of season 5, Walt finally reached acceptance.

Felt the same way when Walt shot Jack. Return of the splatter cam!

I'd like to see a Novice / Expert take on the new run of Community, ala Game of Thrones. I've read other reviews of the current season that have been far less acidic than Todd's take, and overall I think it'd be interesting to obtain a perspective of the show free from the burden of Harmon's legacy.

I think that "Community comment threads" may qualify as my "pop culture too extensive to start."

There's a great episode of Idea Channel that deals with the concept of Effort Justification in popular culture, and it uses one of my favorite pieces of pop culture to illustrate it: the webcomic Homestuck. I was fortunate enough to get hooked on the series during the buildup of the 5th act climax, so the promise of

If his overarching game-plan is to be adhered to, then 2013 will also mark the end of Andrew Hussie's landmark web-comic "Homestuck." There'll have to be some serious peddle to the metal output if the series is to reach its conclusion satisfactorily, but I'm pretty stoked to see it play out all the same.

I always appreciate it when what is ostensibly a kids show opts to go to a harsh place, effectively making A.T. one of my favorite shows on television. While I can understand some criticisms about the Destiny Gang, I appreciate how the show allowed for them to extend into outright cruelty in the first episode, while

IMDB says it's Jack Betts. Also, totally agree on Karloff's level of talent, arguably on finest display in Targets, appropriately enough a movie about an aging horror icon facing off against a modern horror style mad gunman.

Glad to see some love for Son of Frankenstein. All together, the Karloff Frankenstein films comprise one of my all-time favorite movie trilogies.

It's funny, but there were several seemingly inappropriate movies my family saw while I was growing  up that didn't seem that inappropriate at the time. We all went to see The Ladykillers together, and to be fair, the memories of the pervasive obscenities hasn't live on nearly as long as  memories of "Pickles!" and

Random thoughts, in order of film:

I do my darnedest not to dwell on past losses, so the only one that immediately comes to mind was the theft of by barely touched copy of Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past on Christmas morning by a visiting neighbor-child. We never did get the kid to fess up, and I'm not even sure where he lives now. Regardless, I

Initially, I was lead to sympathize with Broderick, but  I'll agree that his lack of tact in diffusing the situation put a good bit of blame on his shoulders. I've had plenty of teachers like that, where you got the impression that they had an answer ready for the question they just asked the class, and you just wish
