Ooof

It felt like a direct parody of a scene from something (the way it paused for a moment to allow you to take in the deliberate camera angle, expression on Giles' face, framing etc) but did Sherlock show him lying like that after the fall? I assumed it was something else that it'd not seen..

I can't believe that will be anything but the case (I've not seen episode 2 yet so may have already proved to be completely wrong)

There's been a few shots with things between Walt and Skyler before (when they've been at odds), generally it's been a window so the pane divider comes between them or similar. This time it was a massive fixture taking up about 1/6 of the screen. There's now far too much between them to be undone

And as we're finding, the BB finale still is causing plenty of discussion/arguments between fans - I'm hoping some thinking for ourselves is going on to fuel said discussions

Also, love

And as we all know, money buys happiness

@avclub-da518aecddbf5c94588f53562012c452:disqus But Flynn will always think (probably) the money came from the Schwartz's charity as opposed to his Dad The very same charity Walt didn't want back in the day - the episode with the party after he's given the 'all clear' in season 2 shows how pissed he was getting at

Yeah, I took that whole thing to be showing how far things have sunk for him. The only way to get his Son the money is to have it apparently come from the people he refused money from in the first place. He will never get the credit for it, not really a win when you think about it..

Also, he died alone on the floor of a meth lab. As opposed to surrounded by his loving (albeit poor) family if he'd never have gone down this route.

But thats so much less fun than half baked opinions and ideas based on articles I read when I should be working

He might also just want to write / work on something different for a bit (Saul is a comedy, this would be something in the more traditional procedural model) - also allowing ideas for future shows to percolate. Breaking Bad set a rather high standard for his work, why immediately try and match it?

I quite like the idea of the film JGL has been pushing in interviews - how movies (in particular romantic ones) and porn change our perception of how love and sex would be in real life. It just seems like that idea doesn't really shine through in the film itself (according to reviews)

Yeah I'm wondering how much we'll see the bar, the flat and so on this season. I hope a fair amount although I give them credit for avoiding that the first couple of episodes to establish what they're doing (and glad people seem to be digging it)

Also, regarding the predictability of the storyline - the assumption is it will blow up in his face. We know the girl playing Elizabeth isn't sticking around so where does this leave us? Schmidt pining for Cece again? Maybe she'll date someone else? We definitely haven't covered that ground repeatedly…

A friend of mine didn't realise until he was about 25 - admittedly I don't think it's uber severe but he only realised after buying a shiny new android phone, geeking out and downloading every possible app. One of said apps, was a colour blindness test.
He was showing us his phone at the pub, and mentioned the colour

I do enjoy it, but as you said the premise wears a little thing. But given it's 2x 20 minute episodes a month I'm still up to date, still makes me chuckle and as it's gotten more attention they've been able to play around with the format a little more (see Astrid from Fringe in recent episode, or Matilda showing up a

I'm surprised they didn't go for the joke that even with the face swapping shenanigans it still boiled down to Owen taking Glenn's shift and not being able to do his operations

I always liked the suggestion I read elsewhere of recording the neighbours noises and then playing it back loudly later. Also possibly attempt to make a techno remix of it and play that loudly too

Yurp, clearly Palestinian Chicken is better than Ozymandias. Sorry but you can't argue with the grading system, it's a completely quantitative accurate method for comparing TV shows. That's why people care so much about it.
