Doesn't really hold up today anyway unless you watch a lot of network dramas. It's still an improvement over those.

Hmm spite? Uhh I'm not watching The Good Wife, Scandal and co because the AvClub has made me dismiss them as feminist propaganda or something. Thank god I was already interested in the Avatar universe or I would have missed out on Legend of Korra. Seriously everytime a female character is introduced or does anything

More like the music of 10 years ago.

They aired the last 3 episodes of Community Season 3 in one night just before (maybe a bit after I don't remember) firing the creator.

odduck why are we still here?

Then we'll see her in hell.

Do Jeff's speeches count as monologues? If so the Paradigms Of Human Memory speech is the best in Community History. "It's a locomotive than runs on us." One of my favourite lines of the series.

Happy Endings does not give a shit about relationship drama. The drama they did put felt forced and was done as quickly as possible to get out of the way. I really liked that about the show.

Except ofcourse that storyline led to great episodes in late Season 3. Looks like people don't care about though. Season 4 "Kevin" wasn't even Dan's doing. But yeah lets keep whailing about how Emperor Chang was the most unrealistic part of a show with real zombies, campus destroying paintball matches and alternate

Why would only a couple of them be ideal? Season 2 had lots of them and I'm sure a lot of people here consider that the greatest season of a sitcom ever made. So did Season 3 and 5. Obviously not all the concept episodes are masterpieces but even less grounded character development episodes are.

Well believe it because that box office gross FORCED everyone previously involved to do it. I don't think even the suits wanted to do it but you know pushy those surprise box office hit profits are.

Where's the review? You already had it written up so what's the hold up?

What about the time the Dean was in captivity of Chang? Or when he went crazy making that commercial? Or in the gas leak season finale where he was crying in wedding dress? Cmon the Dean is always breaking down.

So were just gonna pretend like this isn't the final season? Do we really want a show with the subtitle #SixSeasonsAndAMovie to go for more than 6 seasons? The prophecy must be fufilled people. Well unless they make Season 6 part 2. I'd be down with that.

So you pirate but you hope the people who put up stuff to pirate get in legal trouble? Or is it only ok to upload/pirate after official US release?

I wonder how many people reading that know that Botswana's a country.

I don't know about that comparison. I'm not sure but anyway there's no other show like this on network tv. It's not as good as it can be but it's not terrible (let alone abusive). It's watchable and frequently shows glimpses of a better show when the jokes land. I'm pretty sure the creators of this know that next

Oh that makes sense. Wish it was a little more clear but I'll take it as a subtle resolution. I guess we don't get many of those in this show. If they are gonna avoid cliche sitcom resolution explanations then I prefer they do what they did last week and just not have one and make a joke about it.

Did you also hate the canon line about the earth being destroyed by a comet if the show isn't renewed? Or pretty much everything Abed says really.

I disagree with all of those that i've seen. Arrested Development is very infrequently meta and not really that alienating. I feel like it's just a quality sitcom and not really up it's own ass. Happy Endings is just a normal sitcom done really well. Few to none meta references and not alienating at all. Always Sunny,
