So uh why did Elroy hate Jeff so much in the first place? I thought we were gonna get another Why Quagmire Hates Brian type of scene exploring all of Jeff's faults. I guess we've had similar storylines before but why dedicate so much screentime to that plotline and the end so abruptly? That's pretty much all Jeff did…
You must have hated the Chang-KarateKid plotline. I laughed my ass off at that verbal abuse. It was so cruel.
I was gonna say the same thing about "alienating, smarter-than-thou, up-its-own-ass single-camera sitcoms." I didn't even know they were multiple of them let alone so much that were already tired of them. I guess 30 Rock loosley fits that description but what are the other shows the reviewer is talking about?…
Could be going in that direction. That would be a cool twist. She could betray them during the paintball episode.
I feel like the focus on Troy's absence is fair cause it really feels like his absence has taken part of the show's energy with him. Shirley, Pierce, Duncan, Buzz are all gone but it seems like their contributions to the show are more easily replaceable, as great as their contributions were though. Bringing another…
"Episode-long parodies and homages"
What is this thing of commenting on old Community reviews thing anyway? And what are y'all gonna do when the show's over?
You win!
Thats why he deserves that name for being so stupid and practically giving it to himself.
Yeah but you could stick around and allow the show to find it's footing. Maybe they'll see feedback about the show and retool it to focus more on the concept in future seasons. If you just leave you may give networks the message that it's the idea of a concept sitcom that failed not the execution. Then they'll just…
"he wouldn't mind if Todd didn't hate him"
Really? Because he was just a dick to Todd in this episode as usual.
I hope he stays Tandy on the show. He deserves that name.
Rick and Morty's coming back. Eventually.
Catherine is my favourite character on this show. The show suggests that she has bad parents but she still grew up to be a genuine, cooperative person. They don't ham up her character by making her overly defiant or overly compliant. She has her issues with her situation but understands the importance of her mom's job…
That comment about Agent Carter in the article and a quick google search revealing that the series was "designed with a finite 8 episodes in mind," suggests I should probably check the show out.
Which DC movies are you even talking about? The Nolan trilogy and MoS? Both of those were a slog to get through?
Because Marvel has the light superhero movie market already flooded. They're mass audiences out there who loved the Nolan's series darkness so DC is filling in that blockbuster gritty superhero void while differing themselves from Marvel's universe.
I thought people in general were turning against Superman when superhero movies exploded in popularity. People were saying he was too overpowered, too morally unambigious and too rigid as a character. People were calling him a relic of a patriotic past and that he wouldn't be popular in today's market. Now it seems…
