It’s absolutely criminal that this series didn’t last.

Now playing

She will always be Tina from Other Space to me.

I’m not much for superhero comics, but The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl was just so much fun.  I never really fancasted any of the characters - except for Brain Drain.  I always heard his lines in my head as being spoken by Werner Herzog.

Dave Foley looks like he lost weight too.
They got into fightin’ shape for this series.

I’ve used the “this one has spirit, some day he will be VP” about my toddler many times.

Whenever I see a bunch of suits - on the train or in a men’s store or whatever - I often mutter to myself “Of course, many, many Armani.”

Ah, mais oui! I hope the Quebecois fur trappers are back, and happy one their own is now Prime Minister (but not President).

Am I crazy or do they look more like their old selves than they have in years? Maybe it’s the familiarity of returning characters?

Have you heard Janet play drums? Have you heard ‘Dig Me Out’ or ‘Ironclad’ ? Without those incredibly inventive, driving drumbeats, they wouldn’t be anywhere near as good. And she’s a multi-instrumentalist who writes songs aplenty for Quasi. She wasn't allowed, it seems, to contribute like she wanted to.

Love this album, especially the title track, Dance Song ‘97, and Little Babies. Brings back memories of doing all-nighters to try and get uni essays handed in on time, as well as of seeing SK in Glasgow dives like the 13th Note Club.

Great. Annie Clark was the Wormtongue to current day Sleater-Kinney and now she can reinvent their back catalog.

If they do another covers album, I am ready and willing to tell the world that they are, in fact, no rock and roll fun.

“The rules changed within the band, and they told me the rules changed,” she explained. “I said, ‘Am I just the drummer now?’ They said yes. And I said, ‘Can you tell me if I am still a creative equal in the band?’ And they said no. So, I left.”

Tommy Lee, already questioning his own relevance in an apparently post-cock-rock era, foots around nightclub on Sunset, dumbfounded. Asks bartender, “What is this?” “Oh, that’s Sleater-Kinney. Aren’t they great?” Tommy Lee makes a face.

Lyonne & Charlie Barnett had such great chemistry in s1, glad to see he is back. Also that Greta Lee might have a bit more to do. Plus Annie Murphy! Though I didn’t see her in this trailer.

I’m glad they aren’t repeating the same gimmick. Curious if anything will come of the weird homeless guy (and the cult he appears to run?).

Poor Will.  For all the bad things that have happened to him, that haircut may be the worst.

To this day, I still try to mimic Scott Hall’s toothpick flick. It’s just so effortlessly cool.

What does Bill Clinton have to do with this?

And yet, nothing is said about if a girl was raped and murdered in 1990
