We need cars because we have such bad public transportation and we use the lack of public transportation for segregation.

I feel about this show ending like I did Legends of Tomorrow ending, though the shows are nothing alike. I could be sad it is ending, but I would rather be happy that something so strange, wonderful, and beautiful exists at all.

Walsh got distracted by the realization that he’s handled ass pennies.

I’ve lost count of how many times this season has moved me to tears. Just an amazing show that I’ll miss terribly.

Now I want to see Guillermo del Toro’s totally creepy Caine Mutiny Cout-Martial with stop-motion puppets.

My favorite Willie Jack-ism is how she adds swears to the end of her sentence, as if punctuation.

If I could give anyone involved with the show this season an Emmy it would be Pauline Alexis (Willie Jack). But Devery Jacobs is also very deserving as are many other people involved with the show.

Sure, like I’m gonna trust Clarence Boddicker on the right way to treat women.

Yeah, I mean I’m sure he’s a great guy if you can look past all the rapes.

McKinney doesn’t respect Westhead as a coach, but the personal animosity is due to him feeling that Westhead and Riley manuevered to replace him as coach when he was injured. He took this from Westhead in particular as a personal betrayal

How long till the dealership offers him a job

The writing was never great. The show was almost great in spite of the bad writing, and in spite of the very confusing (for those unfamiliar with the lore) first season time-jumps. That a show could be promising despite major flaws in plot direction and writing demonstrates that there was definitely some magic there,

So once again, blaming your audience rather than blaming what actually is the problem: Poor writing

I remember when I stumbled upon this show and fell in love with it on the first episode. The blend it has of wry, grounded writing mixed with nuanced characterization (peppered with some arch stereotyping) and just the smallest bit of magic realism sprinkled into the mix? *chef’s kiss*

Goldtooth’s spirit guide has given me some of the biggest laughs of any show I’ve seen. Kills it every time he shows up

Wow! 41 or 59, whatever the comments numbers mentioned...and not one stan for whom I am about to say.

Is he actually taller than Hayley Atwell or does he have to stand on an apple crate every time he acts in a scene with her?
