I wasn't the sick one actually, just making sure someone else in need of attention was ok.
Balls to that friend. When they inevitably divorce, because they will, stay friends with the wife and tell the friend to sling his hook.
Napping is always the right decision.
All my luck.
I spent most of Saturday waiting in an ER for nine hours just to get attended, which was fun.
Nowhere is more despairing than waiting endlessly in a hospital. So while I was there I caught up watching Orphan Black and finished reading Strange Pilgrims by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Sunday I finished up Arrested…
The way I hear it was that a lot had to do with the higher ups at the Beeb being annoyed that the viewership for most second parts had a precipitous drop-off.
Good call!
I like Pertwee in the role more than I like most of his episodes; didn't care for the broken Tardis/stuck on Earth working for U.N.I.T stuff.
The akido was odd, but it's not as if he was carrying a gun around.

Yes it isn't that the show needs two parters as a rule, it's that the stories Moffat writes usually feel overstuffed for 45 minutes.
If the stories had the same running time as Sherlock for example they'd feel less breathless and have more room to hit the quieter character moments (I think).

Especially discussing Who.
Lenny Henry!

You know he'd do it too. He's obsessed with the show.
