I think it makes some sense that her mother is still living with her to take care of Kevin although I would have thought she'd have bought her own place by now with the money she has earned.

That's a bummer. I've been hoping for years that we would see a Sally spinoff!

My favorite episode of the new season so far! It was so great to see sassy Sally in such fine form and even creepy Glen made an appearance!

I don't disagree with you & commented on that below as well. If the seeds weren't planted with the weird interactions between them in previous episodes, I would have immediately thought she was lying.

good point. She did some crazy shit & no repercussions were mentioned that I can remember.

I agree that a major part of why it's difficult for me to buy into her storyline is the acting limitations. I have to assume they were going for sexy in the scene where she comes on to Renard but it came off as weird & angry with no passion at all.

Yes, I think the implication was that after his father was killed he was adopted by a non-Native American family but I could be wrong.

ha ha! I think they're trying to portray her as just not giving a shit but wouldn't that get her into trouble with the council? I am sure there are rules about that type of thing.

You're right that many drug addicts have not had trauma (I have known several who came from privileged backgrounds with no known abuse) but just as many, if not more do have reasons for going down that dark path.

Perhaps rather than assume this went over the head of the reviewer & the posters who agree there is at least some truth to her story, you can re think or rewatch the scenes referred to & see that there are other possibilities. I believe they purposefully made the reactions ambiguous to stir up strong reactions either

Thanks. The only one of these I have seen is Social Network and I don't remember her.

Or will it be used on her?!

Yes, the implication was planted when he gave her money & reinforced in the hospital when she sarcastically responded to him saying it's best to tell the truth.

Barb & a gun does not seem like a winning combo. Yikes!

I had that weird vibe from the brother since he gave her money but you bring up some good points. The fact that she didn't immediately reply with "I'm not lying" or something in that vein gave me pause but I do believe she is telling the truth or some version of it.

She actually hugged both of them.

Isn't that how all TV show & movie characters order beer in bars though? Unless a beer company is paying them, noone is going to give away free advertising.

She lives in Georgetown though, doesn't she? Seems about right for an apartment of that size on a secretary salary. Assuming Clark doesn't chip in that is…

Duh everybody knows that!

I think that was the norm for health class in those days.
