I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking Hank was making a Peeno Noir reference. Considering the timing, it can't be a coincidence.

The overall theme is heavy but I made the mistake of assuming it was going to be depressing and it really isn't. I wouldn't go as far as saying it is hopeful but there is definitely hope there. If you like deliberate pacing and nuanced characters, I would give it a shot.

Living in NYC & coming across women like Brooke & her friends on a regular basis, I expected this show to be at least somewhat funny since there is so much material to work with but this has been a big disappointment.

Yes, that portion of the review was confusing until I realized the reviewer thinks Candace is Brooke's mom.

It was also a bad choice for Jill to play herself. The writing is not good enough to make this show great but a good comedic actress would be a huge improvement.

I was starting to feel this way in the first few episodes of the season (especially the 3rd) but they scaled it back over the last few and I expect things to be more straightforward as we get to the Red Dragon arc.

Excellent examples. Fantasy Island is why I was able to extend my Saturday night bedtime.

Leave Winston alone! Otherwise, I'm with you.

I'm hoping that Lifetime realizes that if they do the Clarice show, it will always be compared to Hannibal & nothing that they have ever done even hints at the ability to make a show 1/100 as good as Hannibal.

I don't know, the older ones have all fallen into line perfectly, including getting pregnant almost immediately after their weddings.

The lack of anything worth watching live has allowed me to get my dvr down to less than 80% full. Also finally caught up on Veep.

Well, I think she was stunning and a good actress but I wonder what her legacy would have been had she simply continued acting into her later years rather than become a princess & retire in her 20s? It's akin to the automatic worship people have when anyone talented dies young.

Sorry but the thought of January Jones playing an Oscar winning actress is ridiculous to me.

I actually started it twice and put it down for something else. For whatever reason, the 3rd time was the charm and I read it pretty quickly. It's been awhile but I think it was just one of those books that starts out slow but once you get through the first 100 pages, it really clicks.

I watched the first few eps & keep forgetting about it. Good to know it keeps getting better.

It premieres June 13th on BBCA. I can't wait!

I had to do the egg baby thing but we each brought home our own egg, we weren't paired off as couples the way it's usually depicted on tv.

The tech stuff worked for me too. Ty Burrell is fantastic so I'm sure that's a bug part of it but I also loved when the ipad robot was rolling along & all of a sudden Jay's arm pops out & grabs him into the other room. That just cracked me up.

Just because they often show the immediate family either ignoring Alex or getting irritated by her, it doesn't mean they don't love her! I think it's pretty normal for a family, especially with teenagers to not get along on a daily basis but to overcompensate at bug events like graduations. Are you actually implying

oh well, there goes my theory!
