I don't think anyone disagrees that there is homophobia in the hip hop world (and elsewhere) but to have him show up at a press conference (that is not even about Jamal) and make those statements is just absurd. There were many ways they could have created that conflict that would have been more realistic.

I am so with you on the Jamal/Lucious scene. I wanted to enjoy it and I do think the actor who plays Jamal is very talented but Lucious ruined it.
