I wish someone would update me on what Patton Oswalt was doing THIS EXACT SECOND!

What he's admitting to is that he said he wanted to be attractive and was told he couldn't be. And it hit like a ton of bricks that (shock!) unattractive women don't choose to be unattractive! As though before that moment he thought ugly girls made a conscious decision to eschew whatever it takes to not be attractive

Apparently it requires special enlightenment to see this rather than, you know, just don't be a dick.

I suppose. It's just odd to me that the reaction to this is "aw" rather than "welcome to the human race, genius."

He had to go through dressing like a woman to learn that even people he doesn't want to have sex with can be actual for real human beings too? Why are we applauding this?

So Dustin Hoffman learned to be nice to the girls he didn't want to screw too? That's beautiful.

I realize they both have their own individual origins that predate both this episode and that film. I am still saying that the scene in Thor when Thor offers himself up to The Destroyer (and the sacrifice makes him worthy of his hammer again) is very reminiscent of this episode. And also that J. Michael Straczynski is

You think maybe J. Michael Straczynski saw this episode before writing the story for the live action film Thor? Because I kinda do.

It's a B-movie devil picture. It's a Hammer film with more boobies, better production values and a twist that pulls the happy ending rug out from under the audience. It isn't trying to be Rosemary's Baby or anything. What's not to like?

I wonder which one of you guys feel that "levity" is what was missing from Batman & Robin.

1997? That's as far back as this new crop of writer's memory goes? I might as well go read a list on Cracked.

Just keep in mind that if a line doesn't make sense, it's because Handlen is trying to ape Rabin's writing style and move on.

It's official. This Dowd guy has terrible taste.

He's a gimmick commenter. And somebody's sock puppet. Sounds like he's yours.

What about all that talk about screwing up future events? The space-time continuum?

I didn't get to read what he wrote but I already guarantee it's just as amusing as the other Cookie Monster gimmick. Which is to say, not.

When you checked to see if it was available on Netflix, did you, you know, ACTUALLY check?

I reject all Supercuts that don't use a razor to get my sideburns right.

Do you mean you're going to touch her on her…?

Actually, the "it was all a dream" was an insanely popular ending to films back then.
