I still have a copy of the Lenny and the Squigtones lp…err in my basement in a box somewhere. It came with a poster, too. There's a couple of pretty funny songs on it.

I'll add that he could whistle out parts that he wanted his band to play. He did a couple of whistling solos, as well (Harry Irene, and a couple of others that I'm too lazy to remember).

I have that boxed set, and one day, somebody broke into my apartment and stole my cd player that had one of the cds in it. Grrr! I was pissed off that I had a boxed set that was missing a cd. I emailed the company that put out the set (Revenant) and explained my situation. I was very surprised when I got a response…

I saw Leon Redbone in concert one time. The ticket was a bit high…but it ended up being well worth the money. He and his band were fantastic.

I put a dimarzio super distortion pickup in my guitar specifically because Ace Frehley uses them….and I really haven't listened to KISS in years. The guy has a great sound! The other pickup in that same guitar is a Gibson Tony Iommi pickup. Lol! I wanted a heavy sound.
