The quality of a cd is dependent on whether or not the master tapes were used, and also when the cd was made. Early cds weren't equalized correctly in a lot of cases. Even if he is a douche, he can really play that guitar. It sounds like he's better in concert than he's ever been. I saw Fats Domino on his last national tour….probably 25 years ago. His band had the cream of the crop of New Orleans musicians. The horn section was awesome…..Lee Allen and Red Allen were still in the band. Fats doesn't tour much, so I think all New Orleans musicians jumped to play with him. Great show!
