Mookie would fit in as a character in plenty of Tyler Perry movies

I wonder if Tyler Perry was dressed up as Madea when he said "Spike Lee should shut the hell up"
Sure all of Tyler Perry's "product" sucks, but he's been financially more successful churning out TV programs, Films, and Theater productions than Spike Lee has. And the Black Community seems to enjoy Perry's product better than Lee's.
They always seemed like a cover band to me…
ponies are only good for riding and making glue
Lana Kane from Archer gets my vote
these shows could have been saved!
Why didn't they try to add a couple of teen vampires?
cross dressing has NOT always been funny. The Wayans Brothers White Chicks movie wasn't funny. Well, I'm guessing it wasn't funny…..
I got some goop for her
mmmmm! off-brand! who could pass up Gurl Scoutz cookies?
white cross dressing comedians have been around a lot longer than Madea. Milton Berle, for one
grocery store in poor neighborhoods = 7-11. They have cookies , cheetos, and cigarettes
Yeah, that Wald book is great. I'm a huge nerd when it comes to reading stuff like that, though. Liner notes, too.
I just read a book about Blind Willie McTell (it was a tad dry and scholarly). He had to be talked into playing blues. He was more of a tin pan alley songster. Like you said, a lot of these guys were capable of playing a lot more than blues. Well, there was a market for blues, so that's what they played. With artists…
@Regular Gonzalez…."tried switching it up to some Skip James". His version of 22-20 Blues: But I get my 22-20, I cut that woman half in two
Blind Willie McTell does a good version of Delia, too.
no troll of the year category?
all people do on the internet is troll. Who came up with these categories?
I'm generally a film snob….plenty of Foreign films and silent films. I enjoyed the hell out of Machete, though. Not every film needs to be seen through the glaring microscope of snobbery.
Judy Greer? Cheryl/Carol from Archer? Glue up!!!!!!
I'm knitting my life back together with yarn. When I'm done, I'll have a security blanket
