I've seen tons of punks bands back in the day (Pistols, Dead Kennedys, Clash, X, Buzzcocks, Fear, etc). Seeing the original Ramones is still one of the best shows I ever saw. Honestly, all those bands put on great shows, but the Ramones just had something extra.

Paul Schaffer used to do a great impression of him on Saturday Night Live.

Rocks!
Loved Don Kirschner's Rock Concert!

The reason the Ramones inspire such reverence is because they were the starting point of the Punk Movement. You can say Iggy, or a number of other artists, but for the do it yourself ""I can do that"….it's the Ramones. Having seen the original Ramones play a couple of package tours, they always came out on

@Leo Grocery…did you see that Rosetta Tharpe video on youtube where she's shredding on a Gibson SG? Great stuff…..practically punk rock right there. I think the song is "Up Over My Head".

Yeah, let's get rid of everything good about the Green Hornet and make it a comedy. Alright, I'll give it a chance. I would have seen it at a movie theater, but it seems like everybody is giving it an enjoyable but average rating.

oh yeah, I forgot about Hercules in New York

Conan the Barbarian!!!!!!
Pinacle of his acting career: Conan the Barbarian!

Ruth Underwood
proves that Vibes and Xylophone sound great in Rock Music.

"You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who the fuck do you think you're talking to?"

David Caruso came back to television by choice.

I've never been much of a Christian Bale fan, but he was great in The Fighter.

I'll also be waiting to see it for free. My problem is that The Green Hornet shouldn't be a stupid action/comedy film. Even the old tv show was gritty. Those old pulp heros (Doc Savage, The Phantom, The Shadow, The Green Hornet) should always be filmed as violent Noir epics. No comedy needed.

Being from the Chicago area, I have to say…..Da Bears!!!!!

actually, I have most of her albums (didn't pay for them). She really impresses me with her guitar playing….her hippy bs….not so much.

I am also ashamed of my Italian Heritage, but it started when those damn guidos kept me up with their fireworks at the Italian Festival down the block earlier this year. Now this!!!!!!! Fat Italian girls should be in the kitchen making me cannolis.

Green Hornet TV Show
My girlfriend has been coming over demanding to watch the Green Hornet (they're playing the reruns on sci fi). I watched them as a kid, but I didn't remember them being as violent as they are. People are always getting shot or strangled. I had mis-remembered them as being goofy like Batman. Solid

Paul Simon a better songwriter then Dylan? No Way! Simon has a handful of great songs. Dylan has boatloads. Joni Mitchell? A better guitarist than she is a songwriter. I like her, but she's too hippy for my money.

Yeah, Barbara Feldon as 99! One of my earliest crushes along with I Dream of Jeannie (master master), and Emma Peel.

I do have all her albums. Haven't seen her in concert, yet, though.
