This interview was posted ~ 3 years ago, and it remains one of, if not my favorite AVClub article.

Damn Right, @stepped_pyramids:disqus ! Fuck Benjamin Harrison!

" Call me old school, but youtube has everything you could want if you enjoy listening to complete albums."

And now we know the name of Bill Simmons' AVClub account.

Get a better climactic battle scene in Superman 2 and it's in the running for, and possibly winning, best superhero movie of all time award. It's a shame because the first battle in New York is a stellar set piece for a 1980 action movie.

Let's not forget that it took three tries to find the perfect Bruce Banner.

No Kidding. They were a great team that ran into 2 powerhouse Dallas Cowboy teams and a monster Redskins team. There was no shame in losing those three games, but they were much better than that Giants team. You know it's bad when Vincent Gallo makes that loss a plot point in one of his movies.

On the flip side, if I ever have a kid I want the Prelude to Das Rheingold playing in the background. That would be a great song for a birth.

The first time I saw this movie I was left confused as to how Clevon Little had ripped off an Axl Rose rant from 20 years in the future.

I'd personally say Lisbon > You & Me > Heaven, but all three are, at least, very good.

I still have the original Calvin and Hobbes, the first collection. I got it as a Christmas present from I believe my uncle or my grandparents in 1987. I reread it about a year ago and it's still funny and entertaining. I think it might be the possession I've owned the longest.

My wife and I have agreed we don't want kids, but if we change our minds you better believe that Music for Airports will be playing in the background. I thumb my nose at the idea that Discreet Music is birthing music.

In a row?

Your mileage may vary, but if you enjoy ambient, minimal synth sound it's not too bad. Personally I'd rather listen to anything by Emeralds, but Oneohtrix does alright.

Juanito, you forgot to mention that Lee Fucking Ving plays Willem Dafoe's right hand man. Great movie.

If there isn't a Criterion Collection Blu-Ray of Trapped in a Closet someday I will be apoplectic. Also, brilliant casting move getting Michael Irvin to play the narrator.
