Get a better climactic battle scene in Superman 2 and it's in the running for, and possibly winning, best superhero movie of all time award. It's a shame because the first battle in New York is a stellar set piece for a 1980 action movie.
Let's not forget that it took three tries to find the perfect Bruce Banner.
No Kidding. They were a great team that ran into 2 powerhouse Dallas Cowboy teams and a monster Redskins team. There was no shame in losing those three games, but they were much better than that Giants team. You know it's bad when Vincent Gallo makes that loss a plot point in one of his movies.
