The Rock v Con Air is an argument I've had more times than I'd care to admit. I agree that Con Air is just a better, and more entertaining, movie.

Just a matter of taste, DocOnc. I'd say Sideways is certainly the best of the nominated movies, but I just liked Downfall better. Being able to humanize Hitler while still letting you hate him was an amazing feat to pull off.

Yes, Downfall is an absolutely amazing movie. That year Million Dollar Baby, Finding Neverland, The Aviator, Ray and Sideways were the Best Picture nominees, and I would argue it was better than all of them.

If they decide to bring back At the Movies I think you two should host.

Yes, I think both are much better than their reputations, although I enjoyed the Ladykillers more for its awesome soundtrack than the actual story. Both movies were cast well, and while neither will ever break into the top half of anyone's best Coen Brother's movies list they are both quite entertaining.

Admittedly, I'm not a fan of U2, but I've found quite a few songs on Pop to be worthwhile. Combine it with Achtung Baby and Zooropa and I'd argue it was their best decade for music.

Earthling is a secretly great album by Bowie. I'll stand by that one all day, Seven Years in Tibet is his best song since the early 80's.

If you call and give Dish a bit of grief they will give you a $35 credit to watch Breaking Bad on Amazon and more importantly send you a free Roku Box to stream on your tv. No joke, I got one in the mail from them yesterday. Make sure when you call you select the cancel your service option.

Pitchfork loses points because anyone who drinks 24 oz. cans of PBR knows they are referred to as silos, not tallboys.

@avclub-8146f98d564daf7f6cc87d9edcb92705:disqus, I can't argue with that. I really, really like the Walkmen, but none of their albums holds together all the way through for me. I would agree that Bows + Arrows is a very strong album. If it's not their best then it's number two behind You & Me.
