Licence.
Sorry, that always bugs me. The book was spelled the English way and the film makers argued endlessly about whether they should spell it License or Licence. In the end they decided to go with the original English spelling.

I watched them in order starting with Dr. No when I was about 9. And I have to disagree with your first being your favourite.
For the record, and I'll get beaten up about this, it's OHMSS.
But can I ask you, what does making him gay achieve? Honestly? I'm not being snarky I genuinely want to know how making an established character incredibly different from how it has been established is something to do!
And, if this is for 'equality', does that mean famous female literary/film characters can be…
Agreed. Like I did up stream too. Best Bond. Just cold and ruthless.
Casino Royale is brilliant, that's top 5 for me. But the last 2 have been awful. Quantum of Solace was just a mess but I still don't get all the hype for Skyfall.
Love your work @djodonnell:disqus
Dude, I tell anyone that listens that Dalton was the best Bond, by a LONG shot! He actually portrayed Bond how I read the books. Also, Licence to Kill is just fucking badass!
I might get shot for saying this but apart from Licence to Kill and The Living Daylights, my other favourite Bond film is On Her Majesty's Secret…
Haha I just rewatched to see Ed Weeks' face….. you're so right! You literally see it written on his face.
I was made to Faygo you baby.
The gas burners on top of the stove sort of gave it away.
Yeah that's what I don't understand here. I mean, I was shown that by someone and thought it was hilarious they'd trolled so many people with their terrible music….
Yes, they have electricity. But that doesn't explain the clearly gas oven.
Sorry, where is this sign proclaiming Matt Damon's sensibilities? Or, is that just a knee-jerk use of hyperbole to get across your opinion/agenda?
I like how Effie was offended that a black man was cast as a chauffeur as it played into stereotypes and tropes.
Haha that's the episode I always use too but you're right; this was so, so good.
I'm still laughing thinking about the alligator, the small door, the dress code but most especially, that psychologist scene. That was one of the funniest things I've seen.
But it's spelt Ct Pa Town.
That was the part I actually really didn't like. It felt thrown in for controversy sake, rather than being funny or fitting.
That's why I was so affected when he died. I would read his reviews, knowing that some of them I wouldn't agree with, but he encouraged that!
I find too many reviews now days really try to overly intellectualise aspects of the story/script/production, whereas Roger Ebert told you why, in his opinion, it wasn't working.
H…
So, they're using a half Samoan actor to portray Maui, a legendary Maori icon? How culturally insenstive is that?!?
(see how ridiculous it is griping about the race of your cast?!)
I was almost jumpimg out of my seat saying "grab it!!!!!"
