Probably would have been more successful whenever they happened if they weren't as bad as "I Want to Believe" was.
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't awful. But it sure as hell wasn't good, either.

I never really got the forgiving attitude most people have for Hollywood A.D.
It's not the worst thing the series ever did (as this coupling conveniently points out), but other than Skinner in a tub, the cuteness never redeems the ineptitude for me. At most points, I actually find that the twee touches just compound…
Yeah, definitely merits a full on F.
Nothing in season 8 (which I mostly like more than 7 or even 6) comes close to being as bad as Fight Club.
Poppin' corn.
Agreed on Bad Blood, but 3…
3 is one of the worst episodes, if not the worst episode, of the entire run. I know that honor generally gets handed to episodes like Fight Club, but I'd watch that mess any day over 3.

I actually scanned through these comments just to make sure I wasn't gonna be the one who had to do the defending. Victory Records (as shady as Tony Victory was) was great in the '90s. Strife, Earth Crisis, Snapcase, Skarhead, Blood for Blood, etc, etc, etc.
In all honesty, I hate Wild at Heart. Hate it. But I LOVE that scene with Dafoe. I would watch that movie three more times just for that scene, and again, I really don't like the film.
Given Galifianakis's refusal to work with Mel Gibson, I think it would
be more apt to say that this is like the Ring Cycle, but with less
involvement from anti-Semites.
I vaguely remember the bit about the fish choices for taxidermy. Other than that, I got nothin' too.
The Blige song isn't great by any stretch, no argument there, but at least dude doesn't sound like he just woke up from a nap and hopped right into the booth on it. His verse on the Mobb Deep track is just a damn shame. Hell, that entire song is just a damn shame. Christ, the last decade of Mobb Deep is a damn shame.
I'd say this was a big disappointment, if it weren't for the last ten years of Mobb Deep's output. But, I did have hope for the Nas track, and it just isn't good. It's especially a bummer considering how good his new solo track (Nasty) is.
Wait, when did 4/4 get classified as a "strange time signature"?
It's not really a matter of definition, there's a tradition, a canon, and an avid scene that carries on "classical" music (which I will refer to as either art music, or contemporary concert music to avoid confusion).
I'm not arguing that a mainstream audience is required, though. The art scene has never gone platinum, nor should that be its focus. As long as the art community sustains itself, art music will continue to "thrive" as it always has. Again, declining ticket sales is a problem, but it actually affects true classical…
The way to revitalize an art is not by watering it down and bastardizing it so that the general public will wrongly call pop music with strings concert music. And yes, the waning interest is concert music is a real concern, but it's one that hinges on getting the public interested in the avant-garde, not on getting…
This isn't classical music, no matter on what label it was released, and none of those composers are from 400 years ago.
Film buff!
Ass freak!
Including season 9 makes it much easier to pick a bad episode.
Pre-Season 9, though, maybe Homerpalooza? I don't hate it, but it relies far too much on the guest stars (who aren't very funny).
Off please
Too bad.
