Agreed about season 8. I'd call it the best post-5 season, and would even argue that it's often on par with 5, and sometimes better. The only problem I really have with season 8 (as a whole - there are obviously some weaker episodes) is Reyes, who was just terrible. On the plus side, she wasn't a regular by any means…

She always irked me. A lot. In fact, while most people seemed to dislike Jeffrey, I thought he worked well as the jerk of the episodes. Meanwhile, I was supposed to empathize with Cassandra, and I really just wanted something to abduct or kill her so she would shut up.

I'm usually fairly apathetic towards her music, but my god do I hate Alejandro.

The eye twitch we see in lieu of words when he goes to collect the money is one of my favorite moments on the show.

I had already had plenty of reservations by then, but I'd certainly second the Africa episode as being the moment I realized, "Hey, this show sucks now."
