I have now watched all 3. Someone should mention the first one is pretty different, because I was very confused by it. My least favorite. BUT ROAD WARRIOR AND THUNDERDOME ARE FUCKING INCREDIBLE. Jesus, how have I not seen Road Warrior before, it's one of the best action films I've ever seen.

I watched them all yesterday. The only connections they have to each other is Mad Max, and he doesn't talk much. As far as the movies go, Mad Max is eminently skippable, but Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior is amazingly good, and Beyond Thunderdome is pretty good as well, if not quite as good as the balls-to-the-wall…

I watched it for the first time yesterday and it is fan-fucking-tastic. Also watched the original trailer, which was also very Wez heavy, which makes sense. He is much more prominent in the film itself than Humongous, so it's truth in advertising.
