There are a lot of good songs on that album. If I'm talking about it, that one, 3rd planet, the 3 song mid album suite, and then gravity rides everything are probably what I'd focus on. And that leaves off like 6 tracks I love. its tough.

I really like Satellite Skin. Like a whole lot. Like I don't understand why it wasn't as huge a single as at least Dashboard.

Thats the general distance from Milwaukee to San Antonio. It is quite a bear of a drive.

It's great. Simply fantastic. I bought Good News, Moon, and Long drive all within a month of each other, those albums were the only thing I listened to for a while there and they are all great in their own ways.

Cosigned.

March to the Sea for when I have to murder a sailor, This Devil's Workday for when I have to murder a GI, and Doin' the cockroach for when I have to murder a cockroach.

A second vote for March to the sea. My favorite Brock is the shouting, sinister, laughing one. See also: This Devil's Workday.

Yeah, debating the best Modest Mouse records is something that should theoretically interest me, as they are one of my 3 favorite bands ever, but I kind of love all their albums just about equally. Although Building Nothing Out of Something gets dinged for being so obviously not a cohesive album.

I mean I don't like Phish, but I'd wear a Harris shirt.

NO shame in that. Sounds like an awesome show, actually.

This elicited a sincere audible chuckle from me.

I agree that No Control should be number one. It's my favorite, so I was an easy sell on that point. I'd swap Empire Strikes First for Process of belief on his list, and get Suffer in there somewhere.

All I Want, right? That song is fucking awesome.

They don't look good, and for me, I love having my earlobes sucked and that's impossible with gauges.

Yes, yes, they will be so much less appealing then the rest of the 70 year olds.

I saw Rise Against open for Bad Religion in like 2004, actually. Pretty great show as I recall.

I love The Empire Strikes First wholeheartedly. The Process of Belief is solid, and has its fans, but was just ok for me (Also was my first Bad Religion album). Haven't heard the other 2.

God I love that line so much. The warped racism, the inexplicable reverence for the Superdome, it's a genius look inside a completely alien mind. Thats my favorite kind of comedy, a completely internally-logical thought that surprises me because it operates completely different from my brain. God I love 30 Rock.

But its really hilariously terrible. The lyrics are so fucking stupid you can't help but laugh. See Also: "Mr. Jones" by Counting Crows.

I listen to podcasts at work. Took me 3 months to go through the whole comedy bang bang back log. Working on Nerd Poker and Sklarbro country now, because I can't figure out a way to get mp3s of Doug Loves Movies and Judge John Hodgman.
