Right? Shouldn't kids who liked The Strokes or The Whitestripes or even the Black Keys be making radio bands by now?

4 siblings, lived on a naval base, I can see how cash was tight.

Precisely.

Oh wow, I chuckled at a couple of those jokes! Much better ratio than the laugh-track-less Big Bang Theory and 5/2 Men versions I've seen.

He gave that pitch for everything he did. ONE time it hits, and suddenly hes a legend and now thats the thing you say to pilot actors. I never tell the topless ladies I work with anything remotely close to that.

Was it good? The only predominantly black sitcom I watched from that time was Martin, and it was not good. I don't think Friends was good either, but I'd give Living Single a shot.

I recall 3rd Rock from the Sun being similarly frank in its depictions of sexuality, and a contemporary of both shows.

I can't recall if my first theater experience was Wayne's World or Beauty and the Beast, but Google tells me BatB was released 3 months prior to W'sW, so it was likely that one. Still, it was likely not appropriate to take a child under 5 to W'sW.

I have heard of John Peel because Modest Mouse and Pixies did stuff with him. I have heard OF Autechre, but not heard them. I am certain I can't be the only person you have met that is ignorant of drum n bass and jungle, no?

Has anyone yet remarked upon the most curious idiosyncrasy of the friends of Friends, the fact that friend Ross, by far the most immense in size when compared to the rest of the friends of Friends, does not simply consume the remaining members of the friends of Friends?

I have seen maybe 180 minutes total of Friends programming. I could have likely grown to hate them all.

You EXPECT a sexy Chistmas themed episode in a universe where Christ has never and will never exist? And also we air that show in the spring/early summer? This is why I don't listen to fans.

I have only heard of John Peel, but he was a radio personality, so… unless he became a radio personality through a lucrative drum and bass career I don't see your point.

It may have been the same thing, but I have similar thoughts about a program named Cartoon Sushi. Also, I was not allowed to watch mtv, but would sneak Beavis and Butthead, Daria, and Celebrity Deathmatch.

Who wouldn't want to play Mario or Pilotwings? And late stage super had some great games, most notably Super Mario RPG and Kirby's Superstar.

That comic biography he didn't actually read must have come out by now, yes? I assume the critical consensus was in the B+/A- range, as he so astutely predicted.

VH1 catered to your asses for a full decade. Your time is up, our time is now.

Not by sales they're not.

My 7th birthday party involved a trip to the theaters to see Pagemaster! I really liked books, you see, and I only got to see movies once a year on my birthday, December 7th. Unless I got invited to other kids movie parties! And that is the reason the only movie I saw in theaters in 1999 was The World is Not Enough.

I wouldn't say I hate it, just that it clunks way too often, especially Chandler, compared to what I grew up on, broadcast sitcom wise. Not counting the Simpsons, which I don't ever recall NOT watching weekly, the first broadcast sitcoms I can remember watching as they aired and LOVING are Undeclared, Arrested
