Meester Film Man! The Carotid Artery— She spurts!

I try that same 'staring at the girls' thing Kara, but usually the police get involved.

James was one of my teachers at CalArts…. Really like him though he did call me 'Vanilla' at my graduation review…

It is hard for modern people to understand the incredible importance swearing an oath meant int he Middle Ages (the real ones, too, not just Westeros).

I'll ahve to look at who directed this ep because, even though I generally admire the understated, calssical direction of this series, I found  the staging much better (or closer to my personal taste) and much more muscular…  And this was before the big clusterfuck…

Please Yamok, Don't Hurt 'Em!

@avclub-40904cf5a179d97beb9f7f3f8c02e080:disqus Jesus! I was trying specifically NOT to mention Lwaxana!

@avclub-bd847fd835b2c6025557898b6aff7b2d:disqus speaks the truth… I am not fan of Facebook, and as those on both FB and Google know, Google just nearlys crewed me out of my job because their stupid robot doesn't believe my name is real (though 'Richelieu Jr' is OK, somehow…

Certainly.

Well, technically, Nimoy and Shatner were first…

"Sitcom-eque" I would call it.

Well, Silly Love Songs, was an intentional provocation after John accused him of writing nothing but in Playboy, I believe it was.

Lucky there's no reset button DS9, eh Yuri?

Yep, I would say that 9 out of 10 times I go, WTF is going on? That's not right, I see it was 'Earn While You Learn' time with DS9!

I suppose it depends on what you feel the role of a television series is- Quality entertainment, or retirement planning for aging stars.

You misunderstand me- I meant to say that if they hire a 'real' director from outside, they don't have to go through the little 'directors boot-camp' thing. That is a service in place for the stars, some of whom may indeed prove to be 'real directors' but who do not, as yet, deserve the term.

Yup. LeVar has done a bunch of episodic TV sense, with varying but sometimes quite good results.

A hundred betazoid serial killers couldn't do as much damage to the race as Troi in t he first season alone.

Like those tombstones in Plan 9 from Outer Space!

House of Qurk did indeed make the effort of not changing the channel for the duration of a Ferengi episode worth it for me. That's no mean feat.
