I must say that Brooks (much like great(er) actor Patrick Stewart before him) is a really, really, so-so director— Were he not the star of the show, there's no way he would be within a nautical mile of the director's job…

Absolutely. This is a point I make with Enterprise all the time.. When The Motionless picture came out, I saw it 7 times and even paid for my entire church youth group to go with me…  was willing to put up with a LOT (though, strangely not for TMP…)

Seasons 1 &2 of TNG are arguably the worst things I have ever seen on TV… (and yes, "Measure of a Man" is a really good TNG ep.).. I can't speak to the horrors of Voyager, as I've sad, a s I've not seen most of the series…

I a an Enterprise fan (yes, I' the one) and I think the finale is utter garbage as well…
