I too support the return of TV Outland. Did he ever get around to RFD-TV, your home for reruns of Hee-Haw and polka shows live from Branson, MO.?

Dear Ms. Molly Eichel, you're in luck. "Amen" still runs on the TVOne network now and then on weekends and every weeknight on a Christian-themed channel called GMC. Really goes downhill after the opening credits. Still gotta be better than this "Preacher's Daughters" thing, though.
I feel like Krusty after his first viewing of Worker & Parasite.
You'd think that, but on the DVD commentary everyone talks about how they kept getting saddled with test audiences full of people who actually *hadn't* seen The Simpsons or only had the vaguest idea of what it was all supposed to be about. There's more than a few comments made that sound like they themselves were…
Re YouTube, I actually wonder how much of that is Michaels-related and how much is just NBC-Universal. They seem to be the worst network by far when it comes to deleting everything they can as quickly as possible. (And I really don't get the reasoning in SNL's case, since so many sketches are probably never going to…
I dunno, I'm surprised you didn't know what you were going to get from it ahead of time. He's got so many DVDs of his live shows out now (most are also streamable on Netflix) that watching any one of them pretty much tells you the type of show you'll be getting. (And it seems kinda clear to me that the "no…
Heh, the thing about the old folks having a Superbird reminds me of a story my dad told me of seeing one parked in a backyard sometime in the early '70s and an old woman was literally using the wing to hang sheets or a blanket out to dry on. I've read that they were actually a huge failure in terms of sales, so much…
And thus I will nominate the Plymouth Superbird. It's so ridiculous it's wonderful. And it has decals of the Road Runner on its giant wing and one of the Coyote chasing him around in a circle on the breather. What more could you ask for? (Also acceptable, Dodge's version of the same car, the Charger Daytona… but…
Outfoxed, now there's a flick that could use a sequel. The era of Fox News depicted in the first film looks downright sane (or maybe even "fair and balanced") compared to what's transpired in the years since it was made.
I bought the 45 of "Touch Me" before I'd ever heard the song simply to ogle at the picture sleeve. The song alone could practically give me a kid boner.
Yeah, and I think it may actually be the Simpsons' fault for introducing that term to us unwashed masses. I'd never heard it used until the commentaries on the season one discs were released way back in 2001. It comes up all the time on various episodes since they keep stressing the importance of the position (and…
There's a comment on the movie's DVD commentary where it sounds like even the producers/writers were a little disappointed at how it turned out and make references to it being test-audience'd to death, by terrible audiences who weren't in the right demographic and often didn't even know what "The Simpsons" was. …
On the plus side, VH1 Classic airs reruns most weeknights. I think they're in Season 4, but they may be up to 5 by now because I'm way behind on my DVR. They're surprisingly not too hacked-up, either. Only censorship I've noticed is the muting of "fuck," everything else seems to be intact.
You'll be happy to know that "Curse of Chucky" is coming in 2014, though it's apparently a straight-to-VOD/DVD movie.
That or N64. Someone mentioned the Dreamcast earlier, but no. I've still got a Dreamcast. Its games look better than this.
Garfield is still great. US Acres parts still suck. And the whole series is on Netflix.
FWIW, I believe on the DVDs that the crew states they had no control over what was cut out for syndication and have a lot of complaints about it themselves. Mirkin specifically mentions that he purposely made the episodes run a little short and used long intros so that Fox would make their cuts from the opening…
I've always been curious about Aqua Teen's "Burger Drops" and "Lil' Turkey Muffins."
Don't forget Robocop 2's wonderful Nuke!
Eh, they've done some location stuff, just not really a whole lot. They did recently (I think anyway, coulda been a rerun) have a bit with Conan and Andy dubbing goofy anime voices at some studio, which I think they actually first did during the Tonight Show run, but still, it's something.
