Nice try, doesn't count. And your flimsy attempts to justify it means I fail it even further.

The first two segments were good, but yeah, the last one fell flat (didn't help that the Ullman Simpsons didn't look poorly animated enough). Also, no Kang & Kodos = Complete & utter failure.
Except we didn't even get to see the joy of watching a major league baseball player pelted by fast food. The lack of Whitey Whackers certainly lost this episode some brownie points.
Marceline & LSP were right to defy Breakfast Princess. I mean, clearly she killed her sister Toast Princess & replaced her with some sort of puppet co-ruler called Strudel Princess that won't question her, unlike TP. That woman is bad news (or she has two sisters, but I'm sticking with that theory).
So do a lot of these recent episodes seem a tad out of order to anyone? Aside from a few recent snags noted before, tonight we have Cinnamon Bun in the Candy Kingdom crowd despite moving to the Fire Kingdom. And also, what was with that spine being played like a xylophone?
Not to mention Wichita Falls, Dallas, Hot Springs, California, Oklahoma, New York, various streets in Arlen…you know, for such a patriotic boy scout, Hank sure does have a beef with a sizable chunk of America.
Holy crap, Corner Gas actually got noticed by some Americans! A proud day for us up North! 8D *shotguns poutine*
Great episode, bonus points for the callback to "Video Makers" with Jake's jealousy over Mr. Cupcake & Lady. Also, how much do you want to bet that BMO somehow calculated that the explosion & demon would occur, simply to get the most awesome shot of him skateboarding?
I thought it was really damn good up until the end, which just felt rushed…like they ran out of time & suddenly had to exposit the new status quo (for now) to us all at once…
Well, one of the upcoming episodes is called "Love Games"…
Bravestarr's "The Price"…the only anti-drug cartoon PSA from the '80s where someone actually ODs & dies.
Well, I guess I'd suggest some Married…with Children episodes. I'd say "I'll See You in Court", but does it count if it never actually aired during the show's run? If not, "The Camping Episode"/"A Period Piece", "Her Cups Runneth Over", or "NO MA'AM" might do.
And since it's a favorite comic strip of mine from my youth, let us not forget Foxtrot's Jason Fox & his numerous attempts to improve his favorite nerd franchises (Darth Jason, anyone?), not to mention his The Adventures of Slug-Man and Leech-Boy opuses (which, taking after Lucas, were all about the merchandise as…
Does it count if the unpublished work was actually published in real life outside of the show's universe? Because if not, I think it's safe to say that the Ice King's Fionna and Cake fanfics deserve a shoutout.
Honestly, I don't think I could've asked for a better origin for BMO…one that perfectly defines his fantasizing, loving, wanna-be adventurer personality. Bravo, Rebecca Sugar (who came back to write this episode).
The (more than likely unintentional) video game reference I immediately got from Moe was Mr. House from Fallout: New Vegas. A frail, elderly man on life support who's lived through centuries, surviving an apocalypse & obsessed with building a robot army…the difference is, of course, one won't try to kill people…
All I care about is that Adventure Time's "Simon & Marcy" episode got nominated for Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program, & it better f***ing win if there's any iota of justice in these awards.
Sharknado II: Fonzie's Revenge.
If the Marceline And The Scream Queens comic is any indication, Post seemed to survive…
"I wonder if she has some from now-extinct royal lineages."
