Agreed on it finally being spring.  Yesterday was terrible.

Same here. More specifically, I own far too many of the wrong socks.  A vast majority of my socks are black and an overwhelming majority of my wardrobe and footwear is geared towards brown.  So out of the however many pairs of socks I have, I've really only got 4 that I can use.

I've had good luck with Banana Republic for blazers.  Something like this is pretty versatile:

I don't still have her number, but for a few weeks after leaving her at the bar I would get texts from her about her upcoming gigs.  So I think the whole enchanted evening was some sort of guerrilla marketing campaign for her band.

I went on this date a few years back when I was actively wading in the OK Cupid pool. We decided to meet up for dinner and drinks on a Sunday night.  I got to her house around 6:30, as planned, and she texted me when she saw me pull up saying that she was just finishing getting ready and would be in out in a minute.

My personal favorite line from this episode is when Robot Devil jumps out of the fridge and says, "Bender! What a surprise! For you, finding me in the refrigerator!"

Still no Frisky Dingo, though. So close.

Seriously.  As soon as my wife got around to watching Instant I was half-expecting an email from Netflix.

Right.  I think it was a result of relief that the imminent threat was over.  Being on lock-down in my apartment with the knowledge that the suspect had killed a police officer, was involved in a shootout in the streets, ran over his brother in fleeing, and could now be in my backyard was a bit tense.  That tension

Yeah, she started a thread responding to comments on the Undercover where the Dresden Dolls covered Neutral Milk Hotel.

Totally going to refer to some movies as Make 'Em Ups.

I agree with you. Sanz's character didn't really have direction and I sort of felt like Scott was doing a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of keeping things interesting. It was a fine enough episode, but not something I'd recommend.

Maine Beer Co.'s King Titus is a great porter, too.

@avclub-96d5a6aac738589c6314561f56a8a6c5:disqus I'll be heading to the west coast next weekend. I'll have to look for Blind Pig while I'm there.

Lunch may be my favorite IPA ever. For me, it's better than 90 Minute and Ruination because of the great balance between all of the flavors. It is a shame that it's so hard to come across.

Yep, Marshall Wharf!

I don't know if anyone is around the Maine area, but I was up there this past Saturday and grabbed a 4-pack of Marshall Wharf's Cant Dog.  It's an imperial IPA and it's glorious.  It's kind of cool/kind of a bummer that the brewery is so small and its distribution seems pretty much limited to parts of Maine.

I really like Lucifer, but man, that thing has a big head.  At least the bottle I tried. It was a test of patience to wait for it to fall back enough that I should start drinking it.  But totally worth the wait.
