I just listened to it. All I can say is that I tip my hat to Maron for rolling with it so well. Really well played on his part.

Touche.
Agreed. I mean, if I take a step back I can easily say that the show has a lot going for it. It's gorgeously shot, it's well produced, it's got strong talent in front of the screen. But man, all of that feels sort of squandered on an overlong, thin season.
The further along I got into House of Cards, the more I felt like I was watching the first season of The Killing. All plot twists and turns each episode were just for the sake of having the twists and turns each episode and didn't serve the story.
Dean Delray reminded me of Steve-O, but with interesting stories that went somewhere. Like the review said, I have zero sense of him as a comic, but that guy has had an interesting life so far. Surprisingly compelled by that WTF episode. I thought his voice was going to make me turn it off.
I'm totally on the fence about the Schneider episode. On the one hand, it's a really enjoyable conversation to listen to: no drama, lots of laughs from Maron, and Schneider seems like a really affable guy and it was nice to listen to an episode without any tension. It went by fast.
Thank you for taking the time to read it and give some input! I'll revisit the tenses (I'm admittedly terrible at keeping them consistent) and look at that line.
I haven't and I just left the liquor store after staring at those bottles. But I ultimately picked up a bottle of Black Maple Hill Bourbon.
I really like the Yamazaki 18. Surprisingly, the 12 is not that great. Usually I'm a fan of the younger whiskeys, as I like the peaty, smoky flavors that tend to temper as the whiskey ages, but the 12 was just disappointing. 18 is great, though.
Here's a short…thing?…I wrote and thought about seeking input on, but got too precious about my feelings. Very curious to hear feedback, if anyone's interested in providing some.
The Ludlow is a fantastic looking suit. I second this suggestion.
@avclub-b31378bbfb701dc33efdb269aa01e844:disqus Huh. When you type it out loud, it seems rather obvious.
I'd probably third the pro tip. My take is you want to move things off of the internet and into the real world pretty quickly.
I'm 33 and I like those a lot! I'm now on the hunt for some suede loafers, so I'm fully on board the suede train.
@avclub-b31378bbfb701dc33efdb269aa01e844:disqus I wear a 42 regular and find that it fits around my chest, has just the right amount of pull at the button, and covers my 'donk well.
For $1000 I'd buy two suits from Banana Republic. Their tailored fit actually works quite well on me off the rack (I'm 6' and a slim 190), so I haven't even bothered with getting them tweaked.
Season 9 has The Cartridge Family and is therefore counted amongst the best for me. That episode is one of my absolute favorites.
The Doorway…To The Future!
For all of its almost-annoying, overwrought dialogue, I did get a good, honest chuckle from the "Is it the hot flashes?"
I personally wouldn’t put this episode in One of the Worst
category. It certainly wasn’t the best,
and I was definitely skeptical of it, just given that this was clearly a topic
more geared towards Kulap, but I didn’t think it was terrible. It was sort of middling, with Howard
occasionally peppering in funny things.
I’d…
