I never thought he was so terribly important but he's a good element in the show.  You need someone to be pure with everyone around so corrupt.  That said we all know the series will probably end with him killing Walt or vice-versa.

One issue.

I loved Batman comics as a kid and still have a deep affection for the character.  This looks so childish and stupid, however.  Lame story tropes spiced up with some sex and violence.  Garbage.
