Right into the goddamn ocean.

Right into the goddamn ocean.

I'm pretty sure Tom's had time for nothing but sheer burning hatred for Garry Shandling for the last few days.

John Goodman is a national treasure. If the man wants to eat bunny rabbits then, goddammit, you let him.

I loved disheveled, bearded Season Four Lapidus, but they gave him next to nothing to do in the seasons after.

I definitely remembered the kid, but I had no idea how he was going to play into the end game of the robbery. I kept expecting Mike to see him from his watch post or something. I figured his death would be an accident. This is so much worse, but much better storytelling. It should really split Walt and Jesse.

Really good article .
Another example of an expertly used silence: Jesse never says a word to Gale when he's standing in his doorway, gun raised. Gale rattles on desperately, but Jesse is swallowed whole by grief and fear. Aaron Paul is genius in that moment.

I agree with you on Hardwick, but I think it's mostly a result of their recent successes. Say what you will about the dude, he's built a mini-empire (basically built around liking Doctor Who), and I think he feels a shit-ton of pressure not to drop the ball. On early Nerdists he was a bit more loose, and came across

You did great, and you got a front row seat for the amazing Redbone theme song riff. I've thought about calling in, but I am convinced I'll swear and be dismissed for filth.

If you think this is pretentious, wait until you see the movie.

The first half of the interview he seemed like he was just trying to do his act - maybe he didn't really get the format of WTF?
He calms down in the back half, but I just couldn't keep up with his pace, which also may be due to me listening to it at work.
