Agreed - his WTF was one of the sweetest episodes ever. He seems to be a guy that's extremely gracious about the luck that led to his second career (and his wife's second chance at life), and very happy to get to play with his heroes. But when he's not reigned in he can be unwatchable.

I think for TheWire you'd have to pick episodes that hit the overall themes of corruption and cover-up more than McNulty as a character. Some of the most important moments in the series stem from episodes that have little to nothing to do with Jimmy.
