That's one reason I wish they'd go back to the N64-style blue shell instead of the aerial bomb they introduced in Double Dash. It would rush up the length of the track towards first place, and take out a bunch of other racers along the way.
One thing I really miss from Double Dash is each character having a unique item.
Chris Houlihan is a unkempt jackanapes!
With the caveat that Double Decker sucks if you only have two people.

Mostly mixing it up, especially because I don't spend a lot of time wearing full sets, unless I really need the set bonus. I'm a clothes nerd in real life, and love the color pallet options you have with shirt/tie/jacket etc., but this is the first time I've ever enjoyed any sort of video game dress up.
Or if you have a guardian shield.
I fought my first silver lynel last night, and I got absolutely annihilated.
You can also buy some armor from the jewelry shop in Gerudo Town that gives cold resistance if you want something better than the doublet.
It could have made for some sweet Double Dash action, for sure.
I just got to Rito Village last night, and boy was I in for a treat when that music came in.
