I think it's quite plausible that it's easier to find places in Sudbury today than in Toronto today that look like 40s/50s Toronto.

How would Jaime have gotten to a safe distance if he hadn't beaten his fellow prisoner?  His plan required that he somehow lure a guard into his pen. I'm not saying no other escape plan could have worked, but Jaime didn't kill his distant cousin for no reason, either.

If that's true, it is the one thing Lucas has said or done in the last 13 years that has made my opinion of him improve even slightly.

I'm not saying he doesn't understand it, but just knowing the phrase "quantum entanglement" doesn't mean he actually understands it.  Lots of hippy / new-age types like to pretend that things in quantum theory explain or justify their beliefs in magic or crystals or spirtual connections and visions.

They should do the Canadian sitcom Corner Gas.  I actually think it would be good for an episode-by-episode AV Club review.  It finished a few years ago, and I only started watching it when it was more than halfway through its run, but I've seen most of the episodes in reruns - it's rerun like crazy on the Comedy…
