We need Sims to review the next episode to point out that they didn't carry through with the continuity of the story of Burns's head on Homer's body.

Some pig.

To paraphrase Honeybunny, "beau" means "boyfriend".

Winterfell won't be sacked next week, can it?  Do you mean "captured" instead of "sacked"?

Not only dormant, but it looked ruined (towers split open) and, according to Gendry and Arya's dialogue, the stone was melted by dragon fire.

Probably for the same reason that vegetarians seem to have a hard-on for peanut butter: when you haven't had much real food, you'll pounce on something that densely-packed with protein and fat.

If there's any chance of you going home next, I'd think it would be more important to win nourishing food or, even better, a clue or help for the challenge like Troy won, than a letter from home.  Because if you're voted out in a few days, you'll have all the time in the world to chat with your family while you're in

Yeah, I caught that, too.  Chelsea managed to be insulting to men and women in general with that comment, and be unnecessarily mean to Troyzan in particular.

I'm surprised there was no mention of Troyzan's sexist rant.  Something like:

Yes.  I remarked during tonight's episode that Troy only needs to get immunity once more, then it gets to the point where it might make sense for the 4-woman alliance to fracture.

Yeah, this episode was frustrating.  Not that I'm a big Troyzan fan, but just because I wanted something to happen.  Anything's possible, but I think it's even less likely that something interesting will happen next week, where I'm defining "interesting" as there being a serious threat of voting out one of the women

Yes, Tim and Rachel should get their own spin-off show.  They should still be characters on Justified and show up every few episodes for a few scenes, like they do now, but also have a weekly show featuring them and their cases.  Kind of like how Harry Weston and his daughters and Dreyfus had Empty Nest but also

@Scrawler2:disqus , it didn't occur to me while listening to his voiceover at the end of the episode that Ken's new story wasn't science fiction.  Science fiction stories needn't start with "Wizz!  Zap!  The robot's laser beam flashed at the weaving flying saucer."

Good points.  I didn't mean to suggest that Storm's End was superfluous, but that it was in the realm of things that the show could cut without having to make big changes to the plot elsewhere.

Don said he was raised in "a place like this", a "whorehouse".  But he wasn't really "raised" there, right?  I don't think this is a big deal to the plot and, if I'm right, then I assume Don was just simplifying his story for the madam.

Now that I think about it, if I'm remembering correctly, in the book Shadow Baby #1 is used to kill Renly after he parlays with Stannis and refuses to surrender.  Then Storm's End is the last big hold-out that remains loyal to Renly, with a hard-ass commander who won't surrender.  So, rather than spend

I was more surprised that they kept Amory Lorch, and didn't just merge him with The Mountain.

I think that these aren't just any soldiers, they are part of the groups of Lannister men under Amory Lorch and Gregor Clegane, along with Vargo Hoat's mercenaries, who Tywin sent to raid the Riverlands.  Basically, the job of these soldiers at this point in the war is to rape, murder civilians, and burn villages and
